wood duck nature preserve - identity & signage

The Wood Duck Nature Preserve is a home to wood ducks & waterfowl located in Opelika, Alabama. The signage & wayfinding design concept is connection. The purpose of the system is to blend in with the natural environment. The visual identity system consists of a soothing color scheme, a fluid typeface, a connected icon family & a design template for the various sign element formats. Key words include: experiential, tranquil, & mindful.
